This overlay will update each time you stop moving or zooming.
Download Katrina dynamic overlay.
Note: Katrina dynamic overlay works well with GE 3.0, but appears to exercise a bug in recent Google Earth 4.0 beta. If you have the problem that GE becomes extremely slow after loading this, try the following instead: Katrina dynamic overlay, without placemarks [Katrina dynamic overlay, with daily outlines]. You won't see the placemarks showing image locations, so you have to find your way to the affected area manually
Notes:
- This kml contains two netlinks:
- Katrina Dynamic Overlay: A netlink to the VBR server script
- NOAA image locations: A refreshing netlike to a folder with a dot for each picture taken. Click on a dot to find out more about that picture.
- The system will automatically select one image closest to the center of your screen
- By zooming in you can see the full ~1 foot/pixel resolution
- The placemark netlink currently points to version 21, as above
- If the red "loading" box stays on and won't finish, try zooming out and zooming back in
Version 21 features:
